So finally m upto writing something… n its abt my Himalayan trip…
V started off on 30th Oct’07 by Moori Exp… It’s a totally fucked up train… never travel in dat…Newez v reached delhi on 31th night, booked a bus 2 Hrishikesh frm dere...
By next morning I reached d state which I had alwez dreamt off… uttaranchal , home of my dream girl… uttaranchal is as beautiful as her, a class apart…
On d same day by evening v reached d base camp at 5000ft…
Base camp was surrounded by forest on one side and by assiganga river on other side…I said 2 myself , nothing is more beautiful dan nature’s beauty… dis river on reaching haridwar s called ganga… V were 38 guys with 6 frm tata Tinplate… v were accommodated in 3 tents… next morning would b d hardest day in my life…
V hav 2 wake up by 5.30 in dat cold… for morning freshness v hav 2 go 2 jungle… I should mention here dat in dis trip I learnt using toilet paper… it was too cold 2 touch water… n I must admit dat using toilet paper s better dan dirtying ur hand… ( SOB dion must b happy on dis, atlest his 1 frnd is turning out 2 be a NRI type) … hey 1 more good news for dion, raths n samik…. Now m comfortable using western style toilets… so next time if I go 2 dion’s home , I wont hav 2 go 2 bus stand 2 free myself…
Newez comin 2 my trip… v spent 4 dez b4 goin for d trek… v were divided in 5 grps with 7 or 8 members n each grp would b ranked accordin 2 four games played during d trip… in d next 4 dez v did rock climbing, rappling, river crossing and played 2 games… bachendri pal was also with us n she was watchin every1 closely… I came into limelight on 2nd de whn I climbed a tough rock very fastly whn every1 was fearing 2 do dat…but frnds, nobody took pic of my dat dare… Miss pal asked my name n 2 dez latter whn I was restin she called me by my name sayin Raj get up…den came rappling i.e getting down frn a cliff by a rope… dat too I did with perfection… River crossin was good … my grp came 5th in d 1st game… I was very upset bcoz I hate losing… in d 2nd game v were 4th… but in d next 2 games v r going 2 xcel…
V started our trek on 5th day… I was carrying 14 kgs on my back… d 1st night hault was in marsona in d middle of jungle… dere cookin competition was held … v hav 2 arrange for wood frm jungle n make it burn at that low temp… our grp was havin a g8 cook … he made ultimate dal tadka in dat tiring conditions… our grp was 2nd in dis comp… v lost 2 rigved’s grp… I must mention here dat rigved is a class.. he made kheer that evening…
V used 2 hav dinner at 6.30pm n sleep by 8 pm… wht else v wil do in jungle with no power, no ph network, no girls… in d tent b4 sleeping khub bakarch*di hoti thi aur hum sab hans ke pagal ho jate the… v were nt allowed 2 go alone in d jungle bcoz of animals… thank god v didn’t encounter any…
Next de v hav 2 climb d steepest slope… I was d grp leader for dat de… I brought d most innovative idea 2 climb … I asked every member f my grp 2 tell abt his love story … initially few hesitated bt latter on every1 opened n in no time v climbed without getting tired… our grp instructor also took part in our discussion givin some valuable suggestions…
Our next hault was manjhi… v had camp fire dere… a guy sang a song for me n v did ball dance… d song was O HANSINI by legendry kishore da…
Next de v trekked for dodital, d birth place of lord ganesha… it’s a beautiful lake with pine trees all around…v saw snow fall dere which I hav been waiting all my life… it was awesome… v played with snow balls… at dodital was 2 b played d 4th game : treasure Hunt… it was a do or die situation for my grp… v had 2 come 1st in any case… d temp had dropped to 1 degree …my grp did an ultimate planning n every1 gave more dan 100% 2 win d 1st position… finally this grp was overall 2nd n v had risen frm 5th position to 1st…
On last de v trekked for Dharwa top at 13500 ft… it was snow all along d way bcoz of heavy snowfall last night… our shoes were totally wet… some of our frnds very getting down on d way but v motivated dem… to divert their mind v used 2 say some bravery story … i told many dialogues frm my fav movie LOTR…after some 4 hrs of trekkin v reached d top …. It was as if v hav conquered Everest… if I ever get a chance 2 go 2 everest il grab it with both hands, however I knw its near 2 impossible… but who knws I may.
This was my 2nd best trip ever… 1st one was last year’s Goa trip… dis trip changed my character totally… now I feel more confident in myself… I think I can tak up any challenge in my life… dis trek also showed dat I have high stamina n fitness level… for dis I give credit 2 things : firstly was football… v used 2 play for long hrs in a stretch in rain without getting tired … n secondly my fav food suppliment products frm Amway… many of my frnds lost many kgs but I didn’t loose a single gram… I proudly say dat dese product r worth high cost… I also found some good frnds durin dese 2 weeks… hey raths u remember how our frndship started during sponsorship work for utkarsh’04…
Frnds if u ever get chance 2 go 2 a trip like dis don’t give it a 2nd thought , just go for it…

The description was really awsm ..especially the Third para "Base camp.." had me imagining the beauty of the place & not to mention the "Trekking to Dodital" para...snowfall n all..it was js beautiful imagining all this..
However,one suggestion when u r writing a post don use too much of shortforms like 2 for "TO" etc.."de" for day coz it makes the reading a lil difficult..
Anyways ,Dude!! es post se maine bhi tere saath imaginary trekking kar li..:-)..Cheers!!
