My New Car! :)

Dear Uncles

This post is dedicated to the newest Uncles, by virtue of being promoted from being the 'Bachelors' to becoming 'Masters' as in getting Married! Dear Mrs & Mr Mainak, First, a personal apology from me, because I could not come to any of the four venues! I really wanted to, but I have fallen sick thrice in the span of 8 months of my new job, thus already out of holidays! But, we hope that the struggle that you two went through for finding each other and then holding on to each other and then finally staring a journey of completely different magnitude was worth all the effort. I saw the pictures- and the two of you are looking wonderful! Made for each other! I wish we could solicit some advice to you, you know about the new married life et all, but I would rather that you share with us the newest experience of 'Marriage' to all of us!!! I am sure that there are stories and then there are stories that you would want and even if you don't want, we w...

I heard

That you all are kind of confused. I, ahem, well, I think I owe you all an explanation. I did go away for exactly two days. And now I am back. So, you guys should not be confused, I am back. I was angry, and now am not. Ahem, so, yeah- Hi, guys. Wake up.

I am getting married. NOT

And I give up. Totally totally give up. ALL OF YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY BUTTHEADS. Yeah read that again and again. I mean, hello- I thought that TWM is a forum which you all love. But no, all of you are so busy in your lives that you can't spare 10 minutes in ONE whole week to either update your beloved page, or to just leave a message on this page. This what a third post that I put up in last couple of weeks, dammit the lack of enthusiasm by all of you is not helping the cause of the topfloorers who would normally contribute. When Gandhi put up the New Year post, none of you had the courtesy to wish Happy New Year to each other.Ofcourse you all did that through smses and phone calls... but I am sure that you guys are getting the drift. Mannu and Dion... I am really sorry that I had to resort this cheap marriage stunt. But yeah, this did not help either. For the record- Shayon and I will get married eventually, I just made the announcement 2 years odd in advance. To support my claim here...

And The Warrior Returns...

Whoa! They call me a professional blogger and I haven't been able to write a single word for any of my personal blogs, be it TWM :: Online , Shayon's Labyrinth or even Timeless Imagination . I guess, that's what happens when all you do, during the day, is blog and then when you come back home, WarCraft is the only reason that inspires you to open up your laptop's lid and hit the power button!   I wouldn't really say that I am stressed out, thanks to my new job as the Chief Editor of WATBlog , one of country's leading advertising and technology blogs. After all, how many have gotten the opportunity and luck (this is something very rare in my destiny) to convert their hobby, their love, into a profession? The down side is, WAT is a startup, in essence. It just turned 2 , the month I joined, and we have an employee strength of just 12. Yes, you read that right. So, we realize that there is a lot of potential in the market and since our niche is very nascent, it ...

FollowUp Post To "A Humble Request To All Girls"

It was the day before yesterday that I once postponed commenting on Raj's post " A Humble Request To All The Girls " and couldn't write a single word after that, until today. Anyway, I guess it's better late than never.   While reading the post through, I was kinda processing quite a few things right within my head. Raj takes up a certain topic that's been talked, written and sung about, innumerable times in history...and that's "Love".   Seriously, despite being in a stable (I hope I could call it so) relationship for over 3 years now, I still can't define the oh-so-elusive feeling called "Love". Ohkay, this post is not about lecturing you lot on relationships, but rather as a follow-up to Raj's previous post.   1st and foremost, Raj says that " I guess on an average a girl might get proposed 5 times in her bachelorhood (I have no data on how much on married girls) ". Does that mean that your data on single gi...

Heil To All

Finally all the papers done. They were originally scheduled to get over by the 7th of this month. Hence, me and Souvik (I used to drive this guy's Activa) had planned to make a li'l trip to Delhi together since both of us happen to have our love interests stationed there ;-). Anyways, thanks to a certain Mr. A. K. Singh, we had to wait till yesterday for our project presentation. However, now that I'd already gotten into the mindset of visiting Delhi this December, despite Souvik backing out at the last moment, here I am, waiting in anticipation for tomorrow early morning's Purushottam Express. Unfortunately, because of some unfortunate developments, even this time I won't be out there for more than 4 days. Yet, really really wish I would be able to meet up with Gandhi, Mannu, Chiru, Debu et al. Kapil was in town for last 2 days. Happened to meet him up only at the last moment while he was leaving, at around 12 noon. I had my presentation from 3pm, yet agreed to h...
