The Bong Reporter

Hi guys, yeah that's right we from kolkata / calcutta [you guys have a choice ;-)] have been less active recently. Now reading the stuffs in our blog & community, it was as if I haven't come online for a long long time; and that's how it is. I'll not say I am busy but weekdays I don't find time & on weekends we take some time out to enjoy ourselves. Well we have been busy recording a song and since 'Talku Sam' has been visiting his relatives in the weekends, we havn't been able to finish off with the song. One reason Sam goes to his relatives is to get a new shirt!! Everytime he goes, he comes back wearing a new shirt. He hasn't returned since he left last friday. Probably this time he will bring lots of stuffs. Last few weeks have been lovely here. It rained non-stop & best part was; the Radio stations really played all the romantic numbers that was available in their playlist. The rains did cause floods in many parts of this region. Jus

Food for thought

A peek into the Melting Pot that is my Mind That compressor fan keeps droning on overhead. I’ve told the technicians a thousand times to come and check it out. Seems like the air conditioning too is off, yet again . My complaints fall on deaf ears (else, they’re just being nasty). Let’s just say that some things never change (India or America). Life doesn’t get any better in the US of A. I left India thinking I left the heat behind. But I should have known better, should’ve known that it would follow me here too (It’s like a carry-on that accompanies me where ever I go). At this point in life I’m afraid to go to the Poles (North or South). I get the feeling that the moment I step on too those snowy shores, the ice caps are going to melt right off under me (not that the people of my race or even me for that matter is doing anything in our power to stop it, or maybe even slow it down). I’ve got a computer (a pretty fast one) in front of me and that’s the way it stays for most

and i keep on waiting

Its 7:15 a.m. and I am ready to leave for my office. I stand here in the same manner as I did a year back waiting for some one to go to college on my superbike...this 100 cc bike runs like a 200 cc bike… the credit goes to the driver… Little did I know then that things would change in just a years’ time; the sky under which I am standing seems to be looking at me and smiling.. It is perhaps the only thing that has acted as a witness...watching the transformation of a loud and bubbly person into a boring professional. I wouldn't blame the professionalism for the change though. It is destiny, or may be you could call it life. Yes Life, mysterious in the true sense, for one does not understand why you meet hundreds of people everyday, work with so many, and still remain lonely. A typical college day always begins with all the familiar faces; you look forward for all your friends to get in the class till the end of the lecture, the reasonless giggles, the loud laughter that were mu
