Life after college II

Samik same is the case here. The first week went by recalling the days in college, and the slam book and the videos were the means. Even minor incidents seemed special moments-to-cherish. As I am new to this place(Cuttack), previously I just came here for 10 days or so during our holidays, there is no one of my age except for a small kid to give me company. My brother was here for a few days. Yes internet has occupied me through this month and a half. I have surfed 317 hours in 40 days. In between I completed my paperwork in college and made a trip to Puri. I prayed to Lord Jagannath for our joining to arrive soon. So no need to worry. Talking of mental preparation, I am all set now and physically too I've gained a couple of kilos and have turned a little fair!! 'companywalo bas ab bhej do apna joining.'

The other guys are already into their professional lives and it seems they have gone too busy with it. People are slowly becoming less active on the net. There are no posts in our TOPFLOORers community except from few of us. People even haven't accepted the invite to this page. :-(

May be we too will become very busy once we enter the corporate world..So I am just enjoying the last 'hakunamatata' days.

This a distress call to all TWM folks. This has been the longest duration of inactivity for TWM. So is it that we are all too busy or have all of us hit the writer's block. Let's break the spell of inactivity....HOW?? WHAT SHOULD I WRITE ABOUT?? I have an incomplete draft, shall I post that? May be I will do a recap of the past few days..No mood to write paragraphs.. Connect the dots yourself.. * Kaminey - Movie was good, the ending could have been better..The bong mafia coming with a long gun to the fight scene was really comic..Fahid Kapoor ki acting mast thi..waifey aap log ye movie dekhey kya?? * Books - Finally I read the book Love Story by Erich Segal..Hmmm the story is good but the effect of the classic book has not yet got into me..Meanwhile I am also reading 'The Great Indian Novel' by Shashi Tharoor..I will surely recommend this book..Tharoor has splendidly blended the tales from Mahabharata into the modern Indian history.. *Movies - I watched 'Little Miss...

And The Warrior Returns...

Whoa! They call me a professional blogger and I haven't been able to write a single word for any of my personal blogs, be it TWM :: Online , Shayon's Labyrinth or even Timeless Imagination . I guess, that's what happens when all you do, during the day, is blog and then when you come back home, WarCraft is the only reason that inspires you to open up your laptop's lid and hit the power button!   I wouldn't really say that I am stressed out, thanks to my new job as the Chief Editor of WATBlog , one of country's leading advertising and technology blogs. After all, how many have gotten the opportunity and luck (this is something very rare in my destiny) to convert their hobby, their love, into a profession? The down side is, WAT is a startup, in essence. It just turned 2 , the month I joined, and we have an employee strength of just 12. Yes, you read that right. So, we realize that there is a lot of potential in the market and since our niche is very nascent, it ...

Here comes The Dark Horse...

After Shayon setting the grounds for really whacky acts,it's time for Sam to don the mantle of giving the word "Whackiness" a new meaning,a meaning which any of us can't even think of.Talking about Samik,he's been one of my closest buddies and I,for sure, can say one thing-his looks are really misleading. He comes across like a shy and reticent guy in front of those who don't know him,but people who know him ,know it very well what kind of wildly-creative mind he has been gifted with.Weaving utterly humourous tales (with 80% masala and 20% truth,a fact he used to openly confess) being one of his fortes.Very few people can match his sense of humour-wild,crassy-yet-cute and of course, extremely funny with sex, porn and the related things being his topics of special interests. What sets him apart is that his narration of his stories or any lil thing he used to do,was enough for leaving people around him in splits.Due to this very reason,I was once thrown out of the Ph...
