a year back on 2nd july i had joined tata motors with the belief that i have come to a world class company. A firm where people would be helping each other to strive hard to achieve their targets. But all my prior notions proved wrong. In fact in next two months I learnt the biggest truth of corporate world. Be dishonest, mean, lair n you will reach the top. very soon i got to know the fact that this is not the place where I can fulfill my dreams. So, next is what ? (samsung punchline)
It was August'07 that I decided to build my business with full passion. I was involved with Amway in my college days too but not with that much passion. It was mostly restricted to product use n little bit of sales to my friends.
But this time, I decided to do it with full swing. In the very next month my group turnover rose from zero to Rs. 25000. In that my personal sales was Rs.10000. Slowly n slowly my customer base became strong. Most of my tata motors colleges are my customers. They are very satisfied with my products and my service. But I wanted to spread my customer base all over India. Then I used the home delivery service of Amway to supply products to various parts of India. Most of the Topfloorers customers get products through this service only. Presently I am having more than 60 customers around 12 major cities of India. The best part is that I get repeat orders n people call me on their own to order products.
By this time it was Feb'08. Everything was going well n good for me. I wanted to expand my business to greater horizon. The problem was that people used my products but nobody was ready to do business with me. I was constantly in touch with new people. Till Feb I had shown my business plan to some 150 people in jsr n kolkata... nobody was ready. People quit just talking to 10 people. Let me make in clear in business you will have to talk to thousands of people. But my one group in nagpur was constantly working n giving me business.
In March'08 the joining fees decreased from Rs.4400 to Rs.1000. The very next day Naidu my mathu senior in tata motors joined with me. In April n May again no joining. But the sales was increasing. I started selling products to college girls and professors too. In the meantime Amitji (better known as chachaji) gave me an offer to do insurance of a project of Rs 52 crores which he is handling. Unfortunately general insurance is not yet launched in Amway. I got another offer from the only and the biggest house keeping company in jsr. So, in these two months many offers came to my way.
In life when you do something with full passion then there comes a point- I call it turning point , when everything changes. Till that time Gods tests if you are worth his blessings. So, June month was turning point for me. I presented my plan to the newly married couple of my GET batch.It was my worst plan ever.And to my surprise he joined. He told dost ke liye Rs. 1000 kya hota hai.
On 15th June there was summer conference in Kolkata (Samik bought the tickets for me.. Thanx 2 him) . One guy from my GET batch came with me to see this seminar. He never questioned why the ticket is so costly (Rs.600) or said it would be better to see a movie than to see a seminar. After seeing the seminar he got to know how big is this business. He joined on 18th n by the month end he reached the 6% commission level. He is the fastest business builder in my dad's group. In the next 10 dez i got another 3 people in my group. 2 in bhubneswar n 1 is my school friend in mumbai.
And the biggest surprise for you all. Shayon's mom has shown great interest in doing this business. Very soon auntie will be joining. I said shayon that you should also join since your mom will be under you. He is too much intelligent . jahan fayeda hota hai wahan shayon kabhi mana nahi karta. So, he too filled up the form.
Presently I am on the expansion phase of my business. Many people are joining with me. I have a dream of having my distributors all over India. Very soon I will start my business in kolkata. Some 4-5 people are ready to start business with me there. Its just that I am not getting time to visit kolkata. Rai is also ready to join with me to get the insurance policy. Sooner Il get openings in Nasik, Surat, Rourkela. I have covered from east to west . I haven't got anyone in north and south India. ANYBODY INTERESTED ?
I have a dream in my eyes which never lets me sleep. A dream to get free, a dream that il never have to work again, a dream to help many more people to achieve their goals. And I am just a few steps away from my first step to fulfill my dream.

Lage raho bey!!!..m glad to know that u r spreading ur business at such a fast pace..& to tell u the truth initially i was quite skeptical abt using Amway products but now m pretty satisified with them..That stay-on u gave me rocks!!
Now u ll start getting more orders from me but let me get over wid all the things which i m presently using..
I have a reservation with your one statement in the post .You have said that only dishonesty,deceit will get u to the top in the corporate world.See dishonesty can give u some advantage here & there but if one person thinks that only his sugar-coated words & deceit will get him somewhere to the top he'd be bluffing himself coz sooner or later people come to know who you are & what you are really doing..
I am not saying ONLY hardwork pays off. Hardwork needs to be coupled with several other factors to actually MAKE IT whether in the corporate world or in any other field.Nobody respects dishonest people or people who shirk responsbilities.It's only the best who GET THERE!!

Well i too agree dat hard work with smart decisions can take anybody to the top... well my words were specifically for wht m seeing in tata motors... around 80% of top management people here r dishonest n eating away d jsr plant... a perfect example is in my dept... the super boss takes lakhs frm suppliers to sanction a machine... he produces fake quotations... many young people r helping him in this n he gives share 2 everyone... in my initial dez he was d only person with i ws having problem since i didnt agree 2 his terms n way of working...
i have heard a lot abt d ethics of tata grp but unfortunatly its only on paper...

sach main it's pretty difficult to gulp down the fact in companies like Tata Motors all this goes on.Wat abt the the people who are above those who do all this work ??
