YC5 Unleashed!!

hey junta...all of you must be wondering where is gandhi gone..as shayon said that i`ve been outta circulation for too long...
people asked me why are u doin a 72 hour work week....what the heck i`m hooked onto..what is it thats taking so much effort and causing so much pain....
Ive been working for almost 12 hr a day, 6 days a week on his along with a team of many of course..and my contribution is not even 1% though, but I guess enough for a GET(Graduate Engineer Trainee) to celebrate and feel happy about
Here is comes....the latest from the Suzuki stable...YC5(thats our code..les c what it comes out to be)...to pip the competitors so much that they won`t be able to even plan their comeback..forget about about doing anything...
And unlike our competitors we dont leave the people speculating the shape and configuration about the new car...(or their so called "people car" or "made in india for the world" car)..
We take the competition head on declare-this is what we are gonna treat our loyal customers with..if you have the guts, make somethin better..u sick ol' kido...be a man!!
We leave them gasping for breath....
Sorry frens, i cudnt bring this to u earlier...but now since Suzuki San has displayed all this pics to the world...i present it to you the YC5....

And here is the coverage of the event in which Suzuki San unleashed YC5 to the world..

This is the concept car version..i hope they keep the same in production also..

For now, we bring you Swift D'Zire, the notchback version of swift in coming Jan'08..

We have 55% market share and rest 19-20 automobile companies have the rest...we feel its too much for them because they can`t give India some descent cars!!

To our competitors--Beware, we are coming!!

AG signing off!!

Pls do post comments and lemme know whether u liked this post..

Woo...absolute drooling stuff, man! Great great job from Maruti. Finally India's automobile industry's coming of age. But if i'm nt wrong, isnt 'YC5" actually a platform? and that isntalto also built on the same platform? I mean, isnt the alto platform also called YC3 / YC4 / YC5 / YR3 / YR6 / YL6 etc etc??

Dudddeeeeeeee!!...wat a car..beauty..this 1 lakh car whould give E-class segement cars a run for money.
Btw Gandhi nice to hear from you after a long time..Gud work done .Keep it up man!! Want to hear much more from you.
Dude!!!
I love the post but not the car!!!
Its called a 'hatchback' not a 'notchback' if I'm not mistaken. I'd prefer my Honda cars anyday, no disrespect for your company but I like to stick to a certain brand.

Boy...this is surely an eye-candy from the arsenal of Maruti.....

@ Dion:
YC5 is a different hatchback...
we'll launch in 2009...
in the end, i was talking about notchback version of swift...i.e. the way tata created indigo from indica..we`ll create swift dzire from swift...and its a notchback...to be lauched in a month..

@ Shayon:

Nops alto is not built on YC5 platform...and its the first time in the world that YC5 pf is being used...and the first car will be the car i`m talking abt...in fact india is he first country where this pf is being commercially tested(after trials in japan)

Thanks for ur comments :-)

@ manvender:

its not a 1 lakh car...

but suitable enough for a common man to buy...
Then whats the fuss. I thought it was a 1 lac car. Now people are def. not going to buy it.
I can just see Ankit's face after the comment. Cool it dude, just joking.
